Suhr is one of the most respected names in American boutique guitar building, renowned for exceptional craftsmanship, precision, stability and a unique ability to combine classic electric guitar concepts with modern playability.

The Standard is one of Suhr’s signature designs – a sleek and ergonomic double-cutaway platform with a slightly more compact and modern feel than a traditional S-style guitar. In HSS configuration, it is an exceptionally versatile instrument capable of covering everything from articulate single-coil tones to powerful bridge humbucker sounds.

This particular guitar was built in 2016 as a Custom Order for Eddie’s Guitars.

The two-piece Swamp Ash body is topped with a striking 3/16″ two-piece Flame Maple top, finished in transparent Trans Charcoal. The natural back and Scraped Binding provide a beautiful contrast, completed by a White Pearl pickguard and matching Flame Maple headstock finished in Trans Charcoal.

The one-piece Roasted Maple neck features a satin finish and comfortable Soft Medium V profile (.840″–.920″). A compound 10″–14″ radius and 22 Medium Stainless Steel frets provide effortless playability and excellent durability.

The HSS pickup configuration consists of two Suhr ML Standard single coils in the neck and middle positions and a Suhr Thornbucker at the bridge. It is a highly versatile combination, delivering open and dynamic single-coil tones together with a fuller bridge humbucker voice while retaining excellent clarity and definition.

Hardware includes a Gotoh 510 two-point tremolo, Suhr locking tuners, TUSQ nut and chrome hardware.

Built in 2016 and supplied with its original black Suhr Hardshell Case.
