The REVV D25 JL<\/strong> is a specially voiced version of the popular D25, developed for Joey Landreth. The award-winning touring and studio guitarist has worked with REVV for many years and is known for his baritone slide playing, expressive phrasing and exceptionally organic guitar tone.<\/span><\/p>\n

The D25 JL offers the same high-quality clean and edge-of-breakup sounds, along with the modern direct-recording technology of the standard D25, but adds exclusive tonal modifications and distinctive visual details created around Joey\u2019s preferences. The result is an exceptionally versatile tube combo that works perfectly as a pedal platform and as the centre of a modern guitar rig.<\/span><\/p>\n

Custom Voicing for Joey Landreth<\/span><\/h2>\n

Joey Landreth\u2019s playing style requires a tight low end, fast response and an amplifier that remains clear and controlled when used with extensive pedal and effects setups.<\/span><\/p>\n

The D25 JL was therefore retuned for a more controlled bass response and warm yet transparent midrange. This special voicing is ideal not only for slide guitar and lower tunings, but also for edge-of-breakup tones, dynamic rhythm playing and expressive lead work.<\/span><\/p>\n

Versatile Clean and Breakup Tones<\/span><\/h2>\n

REVV\u2019s Dynamis clean sound is inspired by classic Californian amplifiers, enhanced with additional clarity and articulation. Its characterful midrange cuts naturally through a band mix while also recalling legendary D-style amplifier designs.<\/span><\/p>\n

The word \u201cclean\u201d describes only part of what this amplifier can do. The D25 JL offers a wide gain range, moving from open and dynamic clean tones to strong crunch sounds without losing definition or control.<\/span><\/p>\n

The single-channel design is complemented by a switchable Gain Boost<\/strong>, which can be activated using the included footswitch.<\/span><\/p>\n

An Ideal Pedal Platform<\/span><\/h2>\n

The D25 JL was designed as a premium pedal platform. Its fast response, tight low end and warm, clear midrange allow overdrives, boosts, delays and modulation effects to retain their own individual character.<\/span><\/p>\n

A buffered effects loop provides additional flexibility for time-based and ambient effects. The integrated digital reverb delivers spacious and musical sounds without the need for an external pedal.<\/span><\/p>\n

Output power can be reduced from 25 watts to 5 watts<\/strong>, making the amplifier equally suitable for the stage, studio, rehearsal room and home use.<\/span><\/p>\n

Two notes Torpedo \u2013 Direct Sound Without Microphones<\/span><\/h2>\n

The D25 JL features an integrated Two notes Torpedo Reactive Load<\/strong> with DynIR virtual cabinet simulations. Its balanced XLR output delivers a consistent, mix-ready signal directly to an audio interface, mixing console or PA system.<\/span><\/p>\n

The amplifier can be used with or without its physical speaker. This makes it ideal for silent stages, recording and quiet headphone practice.<\/span><\/p>\n

Six virtual cabinets can be selected directly from the amplifier, while MIDI provides access to as many as 128 presets. Custom impulse responses can be loaded, and settings can be edited via USB using the Torpedo Remote software.<\/span><\/p>\n
