The 2019 60th Anniversary collection represented a major step forward for Gibson Custom Shop Historic production. These instruments were developed with enormous attention to vintage correctness, featuring updated top carve dimensions, more accurate binding shaping, historically refined neck profiles, improved plastics and hardware details, period-correct electronics and many subtle refinements that made this series one of the closest recreations of a real late-’50s Burst ever produced by Gibson.

Finished in a stunning Lemon Burst, this particular guitar perfectly captures the look and feel of a naturally faded vintage Burst. The figured maple top has excellent depth and movement, with elegant and tasteful flame figuring that gives the instrument a true old-school “Burst” appearance rather than an overly flashy modern look.
