The Beginning

LSL Instruments was founded in California by Lance Lerman, a lifelong guitarist, builder, and tone enthusiast.
Driven by a deep respect for vintage guitars and years of hands-on experience, Lance set out to create instruments that deliver the sound, feel, and response of great old guitars — without the compromises often found in mass-produced instruments.

What started as a personal pursuit quickly grew into one of the most respected boutique guitar workshops in the USA.

Each instrument is built by hand in small batches, with extreme attention to detail — from wood selection and neck shaping to final setup and play testing.
