Offered here is a rare and highly sought-after Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul G0 1960 Reissue, produced exclusively for Guitar Center USA. Based on the Historic R0 platform, this special version is marked G0 and features the same build quality, tonewoods, and specs as its Custom Shop counterparts.

Finished in a beautifully faded Authentic Aged Takburst, this guitar captures the look and feel of a well-preserved 45-year-old Les Paul, with patina, and a thin nitrocellulose lacquer.

What is Takburst?

The Takburst finish is exclusive to the early G0 series and was developed in collaboration with Japanese guitarist Tak Matsumoto. It falls visually between Honey Burst and Lemon Burst, offering a vibrant amber-to-golden sunburst with a subtle fade, unique to this limited run. Over time, this finish has become a signature detail of G0 models and is now highly regarded by collectors.
