This unique Friedman Vintage S-Type HSS Custom Shop from 2019 is a one-off custom build, crafted specifically for Tony Martinez, official Friedman endorser and guitarist for international artists including Gloria Gaynor.

Combining boutique craftsmanship with stage-ready performance, this guitar features a selected alder body finished in ultra-thin Relic Vintage White nitro, with tasteful aging that continues seamlessly onto the maple neck, offering a naturally “broken-in” feel.

The neck’s Medium C profile, compound radius (10″–14″), and Jescar FW47095 fretwire provide superb playability and smooth bends all over the fretboard.

Electronics & Tone:

Equipped with a custom HSS pickup set from Lust for Tone, the guitar delivers a wide tonal range—from sparkling single-coil clarity to fat, articulate humbucker drive. The humbucker runs on a 500k volume pot, while the single coils are padded down to 250k via resistors—ensuring each pickup operates at its sweet spot.
