2004 Jackson USA Soloist SLATQH Burnt Cherry Burst [USED]

The Jackson USA Soloist SLATQH is an exceptionally rare and distinctive variation of one of Jackson’s most iconic designs. Introduced in the 1980s, the Soloist became a benchmark for high-performance electric guitars, combining an ergonomic double-cutaway body with Neck-Through construction and effortless access to the highest frets.

Built in the USA in 2004, this unusual SLATQH replaces the more typical alder and maple construction of many Soloist models with a mahogany body and mahogany Neck-Through design. A substantial 3/4″ Arched Top made from selected Quilted Maple gives the guitar a more luxurious appearance, beautifully highlighted by the deep Burnt Cherry Burst finish and matching headstock. Cream binding and gold hardware complete its elegant, distinctive look.

The ebony fingerboard features classic Jackson Sharkfin inlays, 22 Jumbo frets and a comfortable compound radius. The 25.5″ scale and excellent upper-fret access retain the fast, precise playing character associated with the Soloist, while the mahogany construction and fixed bridge provide a powerful fundamental, rich sustain and a fuller tonal response.

A pair of Seymour Duncan humbuckers offers a versatile and highly musical range of sounds. The TB-14 Custom 5 in the bridge delivers clarity, punch and strong definition, while the SH-2 Jazz in the neck provides an articulate and balanced voice for clean passages, chords and fluid lead playing. The simple control layout consists of one Volume control, one Tone control and a three-way pickup selector.

This is a rare opportunity to acquire an unusual USA-made Jackson from one of the most interesting periods of the brand’s production. The guitar is in excellent overall condition, showing only minimal signs of careful use. The original Jackson USA hardshell case is included.
