The REVV Dynamis D40 is the flagship amplifier of the Dynamis series, created for guitarists looking for the feel and character of a fully driven vintage tube amplifier without sacrificing the functionality required in a modern studio or on stage.

The D40 combines inspiration from classic 6L6- and EL34-based designs, delivering creamy overdrive, dynamic clean tones and an exceptionally natural response to the player’s touch. Everything is presented through an intuitive control layout, without complicated menus or unnecessary switches.

Two Independent Channels

The D40 features two fully independent channels: Clean and Overdrive. Both have been designed to deliver rich midrange, an open response and excellent playing dynamics.

The Clean channel offers articulate, touch-sensitive tones that sit naturally in a mix. The Overdrive channel ranges from subtle breakup to rich, singing lead sounds. Each channel features its own three-band EQ, Gain and Volume controls, as well as Bright and Boost switches.

REVV describes the D40 as delivering a distinctive “Canadian voice” — combining the best qualities of classic American and British amplifiers with the clarity and definition for which REVV is known.

Classic Amplifier Feel with Modern Features

Despite its traditional and intuitive layout, the D40 includes a wide range of practical modern functions:

Two notes Torpedo – Play and Record Without a Speaker Cabinet

The integrated Two notes Torpedo system includes a reactive load and DynIR virtual cabinets. It allows you to play, record or send a finished signal directly to an audio interface, mixing console or PA system without connecting a physical speaker cabinet.

Six virtual cabinets can be selected directly from the amplifier, while MIDI provides access to as many as 128 presets. Settings can be edited via USB or Bluetooth. The D40 also features stereo XLR Torpedo outputs and an adjustable headphone output.

Custom REVV Configuration

REVV amplifiers and cabinets can be ordered in a personalized visual configuration. Available options may include different enclosure and chassis colours, front-panel materials, piping and tolex finishes.
