The REVV D20TS MK1 is a compact, single-channel tube amplifier head that combines organic clean and edge-of-breakup tones with modern direct-recording capabilities. This special Gold Western Limited Edition features a distinctive Western-inspired finish and a traditional tolex-covered headshell, giving the amplifier a unique boutique appearance.

Introduced in 2019, the original D20 was the world’s first tube amplifier with an integrated Two notes Torpedo system. It combines a reactive load with virtual speaker cabinets, allowing professional direct recording, silent practice and live performance without the need to microphone a physical guitar cabinet.

From Dynamic Cleans to Natural Crunch

The D20TS MK1 was designed first and foremost as a responsive and musical tube amplifier. It delivers open clean tones, dynamic edge-of-breakup sounds and organic crunch, reacting naturally to picking dynamics and the guitar’s volume control.

The single-channel design features Gain, Volume and a traditional three-band EQ. A push-pull function on the Gain control adds extra saturation, making it easy to move from clean tones into stronger and more compressed crunch sounds.

Thanks to its clarity, natural response and balanced frequency range, the D20TS is also an excellent platform for overdrive pedals, boosters and extensive pedalboards.

20 Watts, Switchable Down to 4 Watts

The all-tube power section uses two 6V6 tubes and delivers 20 watts of output power. A built-in power-reduction circuit lowers the output to 4 watts, allowing more power-tube saturation and response at reduced volume levels.

Its compact format makes the D20TS equally suitable for stage use, rehearsals, studio sessions and home playing.

Two notes Torpedo – Play and Record Without a Cabinet or Microphone

The integrated Two notes Torpedo system combines a reactive load with virtual guitar cabinets. The load engages automatically when required, protecting the amplifier and allowing it to operate safely without a connected physical speaker cabinet.

Six virtual cabinets can be selected directly from the amplifier, while MIDI provides access to as many as 128 presets. Cabinet, microphone and additional sound parameters can be edited through USB.

The balanced XLR Torpedo output sends a finished, mix-ready signal directly to an audio interface, mixing console or PA system. A dedicated headphone output also allows silent practice and recording without microphone placement.

Ready for Pedals and Professional Rigs

A buffered series effects loop provides easy integration of delays, reverbs, modulation effects and other time-based pedals. The switchable 4/8-ohm speaker output allows the amplifier to work with a wide range of guitar cabinets.

MIDI connectivity, USB editing and the additional five-pin REVV cabinet-lighting connection make the D20TS easy to integrate into modern stage and studio setups.

This particular version features the rare Gold Western Limited Edition finish, combining decorative Western-inspired details with the classic tolex-covered D20TS headshell.

It offers the same proven tube circuit and Two notes functionality as the standard D20TS, presented in a much more distinctive and collectible visual configuration.
