Macmull Custom Guitars S-Classic Black Medium Relic

The Macmull S-Classic is the Israeli boutique manufacturer’s refined interpretation of the traditional S-style electric guitar. Macmull combines vintage-inspired tone, feel and aesthetics with carefully selected materials, precise craftsmanship and modern reliability.

This custom-built example features a resonant alder body, finished in classic Black with a thin nitrocellulose lacquer and tasteful Medium Relic treatment. The unusual nitro-sprayed faux tortoiseshell pickguard gives the guitar an individual character, while the matching black headstock with a gold silkscreen logo completes its elegant appearance.

The maple neck is paired with a premium Madagascar rosewood fingerboard. Its substantial C profile measures 22 mm at the first fret and gradually increases to 24.4 mm at the twelfth fret, offering a solid yet comfortable feel. A traditional 9.5-inch radius, Jescar 55090 frets and clay dot inlays maintain the instrument’s unmistakably vintage-inspired character.

Three hand-wound and individually matched Macmull single-coil pickups deliver a clear, dynamic and highly responsive voice. The classic control layout consists of one Master Volume, two Tone controls and a five-way pickup selector, providing the familiar versatility expected from a premium S-style guitar.

A vintage-style six-screw tremolo with a heavy steel block adds sustain, resonance and authentic response, while Gotoh vintage-style tuners ensure reliable tuning and smooth operation.
